This four-week immersion experience covers both
of Arthur Lessac’s ground-breaking texts, The Use and Training of the Human
Voice, and Body Wisdom: The Use and Training of the Human Body. Led by a
staff of Master and Certified Trainers, the Intensive offers in-depth
instruction in Lessac training, a comprehensive and creative approach to all
aspects of developing the body and voice in a healthful, holistic way. Space

One Week Dialects Workshop |

Participants will explore acquisition of 9
dialects over a 6 day period applying the Kinesensic work of Arthur Lessac,
author of THE USE AND TRAINING OF THE HUMAN VOICE. This workshop is designed
for those familiar with Lessac Voice Training and its tono-sensory phonetic
symbols. Led by Barry Kur, Lessac Certified Master Teacher and author of STAGE
DIALECT STUDIES: A CONTINUATION OF THE LESSAC APPROACH TO ACTOR VOICE/SPEECH

adolescent actor! This 5 1/2 day West Coast immersion into practical
applications of Lessac training provides a comprehensive voice, speech,
acting, and body program for teachers of adolescent actors and those in
