This 5 1/2 day West Coast immersion into practical applications of Lessac training provides a comprehensive voice, speech, acting, and body program for teachers of adolescent actors and those in related fields. Geared to teachers of acting/ voice, public speaking, forensics and all forms of communication, we will help you build a freer and more expressive voice!

The progression of this workshop will help you in devising your own curriculum, You will receive a packet of information on the last day that will assist you in how to carryover the work into your classroom, including sample syllabi, tests, handouts, etc. We welcome and encourage you to attend, no matter what your training background! Our cooperative teaching style appreciates your personal journey as a teaching artist.
 
Woodbury University is nestled in the small, quiet foothills of Burbank, California, right next door to the entertainment capital of the world, Hollywood and the greater Los Angeles area. Beaches are an hour away.
 
Participants are housed in Woodbury's air-conditioned single dormitories. Each room has individual climate controls, as well as voice and data access. Linens are provided. Swimming and Gym access available at no charge. Meals are provided by the campus' restaurant Woody's and include hot and cold breakfast options, sandwich & salad bar or hot entree's. Vegetarian options are always offered. Your price covers tuition, all meals, a special meet and greet party, a final banquet celebration and your final packet.
 
Woodbury University is conveniently located about 5 minutes from the Burbank airport.
